Horses Line
Thanks to our experience in the production and application of Biological Technologies for farm management, we are able to offer innovative solutions for horse welfare.
Usually the farmer grants special care and attention to its horse in order to grant its welfare and keep it in a good condition.
Our biological technologies act on the environment where horses spent most part of the day (box and/or stable); on the animal welfare improving its general conditions, reducing the risk of contamination due to pathogens and increasing horse resistance against stress and diseases.
HORSE FARMING

Horse is not used to live in a limited space with a reduced possibility of moving.
An improper box and bedding management can cause stress and conditions that may affect horse welfare. The presence of faeces and urine in the bedding produces fermentations that cause the increment of humidity and the formation of dangerous gas (ammonia, sulphridic acid, etc) which, if inhaled by the
animal, can cause illnesses to the respiratory organs.
Moreover, the animal’s hoof remain in contact with the bedding for a long time. If the organic residues are not treated, this may cause some types of illness, such as onicomycosis, dermatitis, rhagades and frog pathologies.
Eurovix solutions are based on the use of Biological Promoters that act on the organic substances present in the environment and produced by the animal during the life cycle.
The action of Biological Promoters grants the stabilization of organic substances and prevents anomalous fermentations. It allows:
- Air and environmental improvement
- Prevention against the development of pathogens bacteria (sanitation)
- Reduction of substances that attracts insects
- Restraint of humidity
- Easier management of the bedding
The application of our systems can grant the following advantages:
- Improved horse welfare
- Prevention against animal pathologies
- Reduction of stress and infestation risk
- Prevention of hoof pathologies
- Easier operation and restraint of costs
